Technical Support

How-to

Before you call us or send us an e-mail because of a technical problem you have with a device, please make sure that you considered the following points:

  • Proceedings in accordance with the manual was kept
  • Deutschmann Technology Wiki was checked -

  • If problems related to our software tools arise, make sure the current version of the software is loaded, check with our homepage

  • Customer number or company name with contact details 

    (required for the  invoicing of the support, provided that there is no more support credit available) 

  • Serial number of the device you have problems with (required for a technical preliminary test)

  • Device designation (if available)
  • Article number (if available)

Technical Support hours

Monday to Thursday 08:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 to 4:00 pm (CET)

Friday 08.00 am to 12.00 pm (CET)

Outside these hours individual agreements for a support subject to charges are possible.

Your request will be recorded in the Support Center. Afterwards our Support-Team will get back to you as soon as possible. (Generally in 1 working day, rarely longer than 3 working days.)

Submitting a device

Many problems can be solved without sending your device for repair. Before submitting a device, please consult our support page.

You have already performed and error search and want to send your defective device for inspection or repair? Please note the following information on the rapair process.

We need:

  • Comprehensive error description
  • Which error number was displayed
  • How high is the supply voltage (±0,5V) with the connected gateway
  • What were the last activities on the device (programming, errors when switching on, ...)

The more accurate your information and the error description, the more exact we can check the possible causes.
