Electronic cam control - Expansion module
With this expansion module you expand the LOCON 200 step-by-step by 8 IOs up to the maximum expansion stage of 144 IOs.
The expansion module has its own processor. The switching accuracy (cycle time) is therefore independent of the LOCON 200(-PB) basic module or in other words: independent of the expansion stage the configuration-dependent cycle time remains the same.
In the IO8 the type of idle time can be configured in respect to the module. Besides, the device supports logic functions. With it logic connections can be realized with reference to the module.
