Electronic cam control
LOCON 100 consists of a basic unit with a total of 16 I/Os. These can be configured depending on application. If you require only a 9-bit encoder for instance, other encoder connections are not wasted but can be put to practical use for other applications.The system can be expanded with one module to a total of 48 I/Os which can be configured in the same way. So you can arrange your cam control system individually and have absolutely no constraints as regards outputs, inputs, logic operations or user functions such as external program selection, encoder type and resolution etc.
LOCON 100 also features connection facilities for all modern actual-value acquisition systems. The software gives you the freedom of opting between various types of idle-time compensation (dynamic cams). Regardless of whether you use angle-angle cams or angle-time cams, everything is configurable and can be combined.
The modern operator-control concept is a convincing one and can be matched to all tastes: modern PC GUI, integrated in any field bus and easy-to-operate terminal GUI.
