Bad Camberg Deutschmann Automation extends the functional range of the proven Protocol Developer tool, adding a switchable preprocessor that allows for conditional compilation. Users can now create scripts for various bus sys-tems with one program and compile different program components via software switches for the respective bus system. Thereby, development efforts for auto-mation manufacturers are minimized, since development consists in large parts of adapting products to different fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet protocols.

The Deutschmann modules make the connection of networks using different protocols and the integration of terminal devices into automation networks equally simple.

Bad Camberg - ROTARNOCK 80 and ROTARNOCK 100 electronic cam con-trols from Deutschmann Automation are now also available with a PROFINET interface. Versions for further fieldbuses and Industrial Ethernet systems will follow shortly. Deutschmann has developed an innovative design for the ROTARNOCK series of electronic cam controls: the cam control is integrated into the housing of the absolute encoder. Due to the complete integration, the encoder does not need to be wired. The cam controls outputs are applied to the connector.

Bad Camberg - Deutschmann Automation expands its range of ready-to-install UNIGATE IC fieldbus interfaces, adding a gateway for the building automation protocol BACnet/IP. UNIGATE CL and CX versions for this protocol are under way. While UNIGATE IC gateways are designed for direct integration into ter-minal devices, UNIGATE CL and CX devices come in a DIN rail housing. The gateways from Deutschmanns new UNIGATE CX series, which integrate two UNIGATE CL devices each, connect different industrial communication net-works.
